|Elbow Beach at night|
It has been one month since we packed up our life in Toronto, hopped on a plane and landed in Bermuda. Setting up a new life for our family has been daunting and at times, completely overwhelming. It is isolating to leave loved ones and a beloved city to start again on your own where everything and everyone is unknown. The good news is that shipping containers, temporary housing, mountains of paperwork, stacks of boxes and driving tests are now behind me.
I'm told Bermuda is an island paradise with its lush landscapes, crystal clear aquamarine water, pink sand beaches and colourful homes all with bright white roofs. It's time for me to embrace island life and I look forward to sharing with you along the way.
