RECIPE: FOR WHEN YOU'RE UNDER THE WEATHER


 I've been plagued by a bad cold this past week and I'm taking solace in warm, cozy drinks. This Ginger Honey Lemon Tonic is currently my favourite:

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 inch of ginger root, roughly chopped
1 lemon wedge
1 teaspoon honey

Bring the water and ginger to a boil.
Squeeze the lemon into the water and then drop it in.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Pour into a mug and add honey.

Tonight I might just have to make myself a Hot Toddy. What do you drink when you're feeling blue?
