A TRIP TO THE CAVE

Not so long ago, we spent an afternoon visiting Bermuda's famous subterranean cave called Crystal Cave.

It was first discovered in 1905 by two twelve year old boys who lost their cricket ball in a small hole that led 120 feet below ground. The cave is a spectacular sight with towering stalagmites and stalactites amid a lake of crystal clear water the colour of azure. The boys must have been an adventuresome pair because when the lights went out on our tour to mimic what they would have experienced, it was an eerie, spooky feeling.

Our photos do no justice to this underground wonder.
