Monkey: A day at the zoo with friends made this kid very happy. We're trying to pack in as much Toronto fun as we can before the big move.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

Monkey: We spent the week in Bermuda and one rainy evening he was treated to his first arcade game. Saying he was in heaven is an understatement.

Little Bean: Our rainy and windy weather in Bermuda meant that she and Monkey spent a lot of time rolling around on their "cloud" (a.k.a. plush hotel bed). She wants to do everything that he does.

Monkey: He's learning how to snap his fingers and is quite proud of himself.

Little Bean: A tooth has poked out of her bottom gum and a second one is making its way. I'm going to miss those gummy smiles.

Monkey: TV is a new thing to this kid -- he gets to watch cartoons while I put Little Bean down for her morning nap -- and now every conversation includes at least one mention of his friends on 'Paw Patrol'.

Little Bean: These chubby, dimpled hands are very curious and reaching for everything.
