NYT TALKS ABOUT QUEEN STREET WEST

The New York Times recently ran an article about Queen Street West in Toronto. My chest puffed up ever so slightly with pride as this is the neighbourhood we call home. The article focused on the decidedly cool independent shops that are opening up and thriving, despite the poor economic picture elsewhere around the world.

And now I'd like to share a few of my favourite haunts along Queen Street West that didn't make it into the article...
My list could go on and on. I'd love to hear about your favourite spots in the neighbourhood you call home.

  1. Stop, stop! You're making me impossibly homesick for Queen Street right now! We can't find decent Indian or Thai out here in the burbs and would do anything to be close to The Thai Elephant again! Or sushi at To-Ne. Miss browsing in general through all of the home decor and clothing shops...

That's it! Next play date is a walk down Queen Street with a stop for lunch somewhere wonderful!
